Shannon, the South Central Workforce Development Board’s very own Career Coach On-Call, is here to make career dreams a reality for young adults (ages 16-24) across South Central Kentucky. Shannon’s career has been all about connecting people to opportunities, but now, she’s zeroing in on empowering the youth of our region to jump-start their careers.
With youth workforce participation decreasing, Kentucky is facing a serious need to help young adults get back into the workforce, where they can grow their potential and strengthen our region’s future. That’s where Shannon comes in.
Through this unique program, she’s on a mission to provide FREE, one-on-one coaching to motivated young adults ready to take charge of their careers, connecting them with resources for jobs, training, and education that match local industry needs.
For a select group of our region's youth (individuals who are serious about success) Shannon’s got the guidance to help get them there.
