Unless otherwise specified, all meetings are held in the John Conrad Memorial Conference Room located within our office at 2355 Nashville Road, Suite C101, Bowling Green, KY.

ADHERENCE TO WDB GUIDELINES

WDB MEMBERSHIP COMPOSITION: Each local board must have a majority (51%) of business representatives, at least 20% from the local workforce (including Labor Organizations, Apprenticeship, Community-based organizations assisting job seekers with training barriers, as mandated by KY Adult Education), along with members representing government, economic development, and community development entities (required by Economic or Community Development and State Employment and Rehabilitation Act). Additionally, local elected officials must be included as well.

ELECTION OF WDB CHAIR: The members of the local board shall elect a chairperson for the local board from among the representatives.

MAINTAIN STANDING COMMITTEES: The local board may designate and direct the activities of standing committees to provide information and to assist the local board in carrying out specific activities: (i) A standing committee to provide information and assist with operational and other issues relating to the one-stop delivery system, which may include as members representatives of the one-stop partners.

(ii) A standing committee to provide information and to assist with planning, operational, and other issues relating to the provision of services to youth, which shall include community-based organizations with a demonstrated record of success in serving eligible youth.

(iii) A standing committee to provide information and to assist with operational and other issues relating to the provision of services to individuals with disabilities.
